Aug 11, 2019 Ethereum 2.0 is an upgrade that aims to solve the blockchain trilemma - security, scalability, and decentralization. In alternative smart contract platforms, they are designed to be highly scalable but compromises on decentralization. This is Ethereum 2.0 (Serenity) Phase 0 which includes launch of Beacon chain that manages the Casper Proof of Stake protocol for itself and all of the shard chains. Being a Phase 0 only, we won’t have all the new features of Ethereum 2.0 just yet.

Během včerejšího večera však přibyly další vklady 22 000 eth a ze 107 000 ETH jsme se dostali k téměř 129 000 ETH. Dnešní aktuální situace v době psaní článku je 148 192 ETH. Fáze 0 nové verze Ethereum sítě – Ethereum 2.0, která přinese změnu v konsensus algoritmu a tedy přechod z Proof of Work (PoW) na Proof of Stake (PoS), se uskuteční za sedm měsíců, tj. 3. ledna 2020. Ethereum 2.0 bude spuštěn 11 let po Bitcoinu. Bude to přesně 11 let poté, co byl vytěžen první Bitcoin genesis blok v roce Nízkou transakční rychlost i energetické nároky verifikace má vyřešit Ethereum 2.0, které vývojáři spustí 3. ledna 2020.
